Deep Dive: Understanding Tweens & Teens
Anyone working in the youth market knows that understanding what kids, tweens and teens think is crucial. But, it's by no means easy! Today's youth are busier, more connected and better informed than ever before. Constantly bombarded by information, they've become experts at filtering out what they don't want to hear. And, with tastes that change as just as quickly as they do, they're moving targets.
This presentation and workshop focuses on the major cultural and behavioral trends that impact the buying habits and behaviors of American tweens and teens. This session is the first look at the analysis and research insights from C&R Research's newly launched YouthBeat Syndicated Report. The report, a comprehensive and in-depth view of today's youth based on more than 9,000 monthly interviews of kids, tweens and teens ages 6 to 18. This presentation will give you the insights you need to most effectively reach your tween and teen targets and understand who they really are.
Presenter: Jacqueline Lane, Vice President, TeensEyes Division, C&R Research
Talk to teens in real time.Teens from C&R Research's TeensEyes panel will share their thoughts on technology, media and marketing. The teens will present their opinions and thoughts from a pre-session homework assignment (a short journal in which they will record things such as their favorite items, their favorite ads, the trends in their school, etc). Attendees will have an opportunity to interact with the teens, asking them a wide range of questions.
