Advisory Board
Bob has been very active in the interactive marketing field for the past four years, first working on P&G's homemadesimple.com program, then moving to take North America and now global leadership for beinggirl.com. While at homemadesimple, he was part of the team that more than doubled subscribers and set the stage for the homemadesimple TV show. Since taking over beinggirl.com, traffic has more than tripled and expanded to include more P&G beauty brands, becoming a fixture in teen marketing at P&G.
Renee is one of the nation's leading authorities on media literacy education.Besides teaching, she directs the Media Education Lab, a center for research and community service in media literacy. She has created numerous award-winning multimedia curriculum materials for K-12 English language arts educators and students. Her new book, Teaching the Media: Media Literacy in High School English (2007, Teachers College Press) provides the first large-scale empirical evidence of the impact of media literacy education on adolescents' reading comprehension and critical analysis skills.
Denise left corporate America, including nine years as VP Sales at USA TODAY, to give tween and young teen girls a new way to see the world: through the eyes of other girls. Denise launched AllyKatzz.com, the SAFE social networking site for girls ages 10-15, in March 2007. AllyKatzz is where girls blog about all the important things in their lives. These girls are a massive focus group, laboratory and tween girl reporting authority. AllyKatzz partners - leaders in entertainment, music, publishing, retail and beauty - are a part of this community, every day. Denise is MoreMagazine.com's Tween Expert, writing the column "What's Your Daughter Thinking?"
Mindy joined the TV Group's Digital Media division in January 2006 and is responsible for the production and operations of DisneyChannel.com, PlayhouseDisney.com, ToonDisney.com, Jetix.tv and ABCKids.com, as well as efforts related to the development of broadband, mobile and interactive television applications for the Disney ABC Television Group's kids channels and brands. Mindy joined Disney from Cartoon Network where she served as senior director, marketing. While there she oversaw marketing efforts related to the launch of numerous original series, was involved in the creation of pro-social and multi-cultural marketing initiatives, and played an integral role in the original launch of CartoonNetwork.com.
